This book gives you a little biker, a little romance, a little humor, and a little suspense. We have a biker prospect with a little twist; this one comes with quite the vocabulary and brain power. When Cisco was training him he gave him the nickname Uni because he used words that you normally would not associate with biker swag…he spoke way above most of the people he came in contact with. Hence the nickname Uni because it sounded like he straight from a University. Tait had a hard with the guys because they all thought it was because he had one nut.Cisco had two stepdaughters who he loved very much and was very protective of since he knew their mother was no longer capable of caring for them since she became an addicted street whore. Even after the divorce he provided for the girls and they meant a lot to him. Tait was waiting for Cisco to get out of a meeting with Digger who was the club president when this really hot chick came into the club house. He didn’t think she belonged there like the other club whores because of the way she carried herself. He was about to make his move toward her when she went running into the arms of Cisco. Tait did not know of their relationship and thought the Cisco was probably robbing the cradle some and being only a lowly prospect he had to take a step back. Once Tait found out that Kolby was Cisco’s stepdaughter he knew he had to take more than a step back because Cisco threatened death if he laid a hand on her.
Kolby came to the clubhouse hoping that Cisco would help her look for her younger sister Roxie. She had gone missing and Kolby felt that something really bad had happened to her and she needed Cisco’s help tracking her down. Cisco gave Tait the job of looking after Kolby with the hands off policy in place. Once they realized that Roxie was in even more trouble than first thought of it took the whole club both in the US and Mexico to track Roxie down and hopefully get her back alive.
Was Tait able to keep Cisco’s hands off policy in place or would Kolby break down Tait’s resolve? After learning that Roxie was abducted by Mexican cartel who wanted to trade Roxie for the club’s Mexican territory was there even a chance that Roxie was still alive? This was pretty good book that leads you through Kolby’s resolve never to let her little sister down and does whatever she could to get her sister back. Some of the banter between Kolby and Tait was pretty funny and then when you added in the sexual tension it was hard to put down. It was full of a lot of suspense wondering if and how they would be able to get to Roxie in time.

Many of the things that I have come love about a motorcycle club romance are found in this story. It has tension, romance and big bad boys doing good and bad things. While light on sexual heat there is no lack of emotion as Kolby is determined to find her missing sister with the help of her club family. Tait is a prospect to the club and he is equally determined to gain his patch by helping to save the girl.
Ahh, Tait. He was a surprise. In so many ways he is the exact opposite of what I traditionally imagine a big, bad biker dude would look and act like. At the same time though he also embodied so many of the best traits. Loyalty, tenacity, bravery and adaptability to name a few. Yes, I may have fallen for Tait just a wee bit. Read it, you’ll understand (and probably do the same).
The relationship between Kolby and Tait was laced with humour, sarcasm and, above all, honesty. On the surface they didn’t seem to have a lot in common but the more they got to know each other the similarities became plain to see. Their goal was the same even if why they were doing it was very different.
“You s**ked s***.”
“Okay, well, what should I do differently next time?”
“Not s**k s***.”
Suspenseful, with a dangerous twist and turn around every corner, I can’t wait to dive into the earlier books in this series. While I may wished for more romance overall, a good story is a good story and this definitely was that!

Una**es. I can’t believe I’ve read so many military romances and this is the first I’ve read this one. I may try it out in the office tomorrow….

Not your traditional MC read but definitely one of my favorite books I've read this year! It has a little bit of MC, humor, romance and suspense which makes for an excellent read!
Tait, aka Uni, is a prospect for Cisco's MC. Cisco is training Tait and has given him the nickname Uni because of the vocabulary he uses, which is definitely not your typical "biker" speak. The other men of the MC assumed Uni meant he only had one nut and are always giving him a hard time about it.
One day a gorgeous woman comes plowing into the MC clubhouse demanding to see Cisco. Turns out Kolby is one of his stepdaughters whom he is very protective of. When Kolby explains that her sister has gone missing Cisco assumes that she's just out partying and puts Tait in charge of helping Kolby find her, also throwing out the warning that he would kill Tait if he put so much as a finger on Kolby. Kolby thinks that Tait is nothing but a pain in the as* doing everything she can to get rid of him, which she manages to accomplish by hoping a plane to Mexico... landing Tait in a world of hurt with Cisco. When the entire clan heads to Mexico to save both sisters Kolby and Tait wind up being kidnapped and things go from bad to worse.
I loved the original plot in this story. Kolby and Tait's conversations are hilarious and the way Tait stands up to Cisco to save Kolby was awesome! I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this story. I highly recommend checking it out!
